Amidst bombshell allegations involving a lawsuit and concerns of a leaked sex tape, NFL Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe is speaking out. Sharpe alleges that Gabriella Zuniga, an OnlyFans model, is blackmailing him by accusing him of rape and allegedly seeking $50 million in damages.
The former football player used Instagram to present his version of events and defend himself, calling the lawsuit a "shakedown." Sharpe claimed that by threatening to reveal a short, edited clip from a private tape they purportedly made together, Zuniga and her lawyer Tony Buzbee are trying to harm his reputation.
“This is nothing more than extortion,” Sharpe said in a candid video post. He warned his followers that Buzbee, who is already in the media spotlight for filing high-profile lawsuits involving Jay-Z and Diddy, is planning to leak a 30-second snippet designed to manipulate public perception.
Sharpe, now 56, acknowledged the existence of the video but emphasized that the clip being threatened for release doesn’t tell the full story. “It’s heavily edited,” he said. “If you’re going to release it, release the entire footage—not just the part that fits your narrative.”
Directly addressing Buzbee, Sharpe added: “If I had the video, I’d release it myself. But since I don’t, I challenge you—put the whole thing out there.”
