The South African National Defence Force (SANDF) is responding quickly after a shocking video of a female soldier went viral, showing her dancing, peeling off sections of her uniform, and nearly exposing herself totally.
In the short video, the unidentified soldier dances to the beat of a song, removes her SANDF jacket to reveal a bra, and lowers her slacks to display her underwear. The video cuts off just as she is about to pull them down further, shocking viewers and causing the internet to buzz.
The SANDF wasted little time in issuing a strong statement asking all personnel to maintain discipline and safeguard the dignity of their uniform. They emphasized that utilizing military equipment as a prop to gain social media attention is totally prohibited.
The footage has divided opinion online. Some slammed the soldier for disrespecting the armed forces, while others argued the outrage was exaggerated.
